The Converse MC18 collection all have a durable waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining and DWR-coated upper.

Making these the best Winter Converse around.

I took them for a spin on the weekend and they are incredibly comfortable too.

The text detailing reminds me of the Off White x Converse and Nike collections with visible notes on the side of the shoes upper. “Keep Double Laced To Hold Firmly.”

The one thing I hate about being a trainer collector is ever ruining my shoes, especially in winter. In fact, I tend to wear boots a lot now during winter and have started to make a pretty good boot collection too. But having options like this MC18 collection from Converse and other brands like the Nike ACG collection notably attempting to create wearable designs that won’t be destroyed by bad weather, I might be able to wear more trainers in winter too.

I matched the camel tones of these Converse One Stars with some leopard print trousers, and added a pinch of pastel colour with a baby pink hoody. I finished the look with a girly, simple black faux fur jacket – bringing these outdoor, tonal trainers into a fashion focussed look, perfect for brunch on a cold Sunday.
