I love sneakers / trainers / kicks… what ever you like to call them. I really am a sneaker head, and don’t worry don’t cringe when I say it. It’s genuine, I’ve even given a talk at the apple store for the for the ‘Complete Sneakers’ App launch.
Anyway that besides I’m well known as being a tomboy but sometimes I love to be girly too. In-fact everyday I try to combine the two as best I can.
Wearing sneakers with girly clothes is usually how I get my balance and today I’m wearing a pair of Lavender Asics to be even girlier!
The new Asics Gel Kayano ‘Lavender’ is exclusive to size? stores, and rare / limited edition trainers are always a selling point. The all over suede colour blocked lavender kicks with tonal laces are ridiculously killer for summer! I’m a big fan of tonal kicks so I was stoked to be given a pair to style up on myself.
To embrace the spring weather I’ve gone for a light summery look with cosy dungarees which i rolled up to show off my trainers and a fitted crop to keep the silhouette flattering. One thing I’ve learned over the years is; BALANCE IS KEY. if you wear baggy bottoms you should wear a fitted top and vice versa – usually! Sometimes you can break the rules but sticking by them usually means you can break other rules like clashing colours etc. This time I went for a colour co-ordinated look.
