There are so many skin and hair products on the market, it’s hard to know what to choose.
I thought I would try and help by listing my current favourites for you.
This list is pretty skin heavy with just one hair product as this is my key essential product. I’ll do a bigger hair care post soon…
Lets start with one of my favourite brands in the world: Elemis.
Elemis are a UK based, cruelty free, high end, skin care brand for men and women. Their products are luxurious but worth the price tag. My mother who is in her 60’s and obsessed with face creams swears the by Pro Collagen Marine Cream, and so do I. The rich marine and plant actives in the world renowned Pro-Collagen formulations work to delicately smooth and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I also have the Pro-Collagen Marine Oil for bedtime and the Night Recovery Cream Oil which I alternate between.
To make my moisturisers work even better I have now found the best product…ever! Hyaluronic Acid by The Ordinary at only £5.90 this stuff is a must have.
A Hydration Support Formula with Ultra-Pure, Vegan Hyaluronic Acid Hyaluronic Acid (HA) can attract up to 1,000 times its weight in water. The molecular size of HA determines its depth of delivery in the skin. Meaning that if you put it on before your Moisturiser it helps deliver the moisture further into the skin. AMAZING. Buy here.
For a deep clean I’ve been loving Biore Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub. I use this once to twice a week for a gentle exfoliant wash in-between my simple skin care routine. Buy it here.
Next up is my favourite Cleansing Oil by DHC. This stuff really deep cleanses the skin and leaves it feeling amazing. I don’t use an oil cleanser everyday just when I feel like a need a deeper cleanse. And this stuff is so great. Shop here.
For an everyday general cleanser I use the amazing Purity by Philosophy which literally melts your make up off. Shop here.
For my body I am currently swearing by Palmers Cocoa Butter. It’s simple, natural, cheap and it works! It’s also great for fresh tattoos, and you can use it on your lips and face too if you didn’t have anything else on you. But it here.
Finally my hair secret! The one true answer to my healthy, bleached hair is OLAPLEX. I get mine from my hairdressers BLUE TIT. You can also buy it online here.
