Last weekend was Bank Holiday weekend, a time to let loose or relax, or both!

I did a bit of both but mostly letting loose because I don’t really do that much these days. And to be honest that does not meaning getting blindly drunk, at all. I like a drink or two and just generally to enjoy myself, dance, chat, run around like a nutter and remember it all after.

So my music taste is pretty varied but it’s mostly summed up by  ‘music with attitude’ a quote honed by rock magazine Kerrang. I like rock music, but also pop, hip hop and grime and bits of dance here and there. But I do really like Punk Rock/ Pop Punk/ Metal and most sub genres of Rock – hence why I was very excited to hit up rock festival Slam Dunk.

Slam Dunk goes on for three days every year in South, Midlands and North UK venues. I went to the midlands venue in Birmingham at the NEC, and it was great!

I saw bands like: The Bronx, Neck Deep, Bowling For Soup, Less Than Jake, Deaf Havana, Cute Is What We Aim For etc…

It was kind of like going back in time seeing some of the bands on the line up, but in a totally awesome way.

What I wore: My whole outfit is from Missguided apart from my shoes – Vans and hat – Brixton.
