Rihanna at Wembley in a Private Box!

This weekend I had the pleasure of watching one of the biggest pop stars of my generation, Rihanna perform at one of the biggest venues in the UK; Wembley. On top of this I got to watch it all from a private box thanks to Simplexity Travel!

Simplexity are a luxury and corporate, bespoke travel management company and they own a box at Wembley so they can take their members on fun trips to see exciting events. This was their first blogger event and I feel very honoured to have been included in list of invitees.
The warm up act was no other than the amazing Big Sean who killed all of us big hits, I don’t think a lot of people realise how man he has. ‘I don’t f*ck with you’ went down a treat, he was really good live and fully got us in the mood for Ri Ri.

Rihanna came on a little late but once she did she smashed it from hit to hit. Her dance team and her were a tight unit, seamlessly moving from one song to the other. The one thing I wasn’t sure about at first was her interaction; she seemed more focussed on performing than interacting; but that soon changed. A few songs in and she was talking to the crowd saying about the recent EU events, talking about how amazing it was to be in Wembley and generally bringing the audience into her show. It makes sense that once your nerves are gone and you are a few more songs in it becomes easier to then break focus to bring in the crowd.

It was amazing to have our own private area to sit, our own toilet and even butler to help with lighting, water etc. We had a lot of drinks provided by Simplexity, enough to keep us all satisfied and not too many to take advantage of without realising it if you know what I mean. Sometimes when drinks are on tap you get a bit carried away…but we had a good balance.
