As women, it’s our job to #DoYou, and inspire others around us.
When we breakdown stereotypes and defy odds, we can truly change the world.
Coming this July, PUMA x Cara Delevingne presents DO YOU, a series spotlighting the stories of female empowerment and change.
To launch the series and collections behind it I recently took part in an event / shoot which can be seen in the white studio shot below. Shot by Emma Breschi for Puma.
Then the further images below were created by me and Muffadal Abbas for my blog.
The DO YOU campaign is an exciting idea pushing forward the concept that women not only are strong and independent (trust me we are). But also can have each others backs; a very important topic.
I wanted to push the idea through their sportswear collection that being casual and dressing down can also be empowering. Women are often seen as cute, pretty, beautiful but rarely are they seen as both pretty and strong. That image is changing and it’s great to see brands like Puma getting behind that kind of message.
We shot these images around Canary Wharf – not far from my East London home. It’s great to see the backdrop in different contexts. I love being creative with London’s ever changing landscape.
