If you like alternative music, vegan food, or just pure summer vibes:
I’ve got the top 5 festivals you need to hit up this summer.

Slam Dunk

First up is Slam Dunk which is just around the corner on May 27th in Hatfield and May 28th in Leeds.

Headliners include Enter Shikari (I’m biased as I style them but they are insane live). The Offspring, The Hunna and Malevolance. I am also EXTREMELY excited about Welsh pop punk, emo kings; Kids In Glass Houses playing their first show in manyyyy years at the festival.

Download

One of the biggest and best metal and rock festivals in the world, Download is back with a 20-year anniversary edition. Marking their 20th birthday Download will now be 4 days long, as opposed to its usual 3-day festival. Including a Double bill of Metallica, Slipknot and Bring Me The Horizon. Again another Welsh band, The Blackout are coming back after years of retirement to play and I can’t wait!

Vegan Camp Out

Potentially the most relaxed and chilled festival I have ever been to; Vegan Camp Out is in a new venue this year. Based in Bicester Heritage the new site looks better than ever with headliners such as Romesh Ranganathan and Sam Ryder. Bob Vylan is also performing and Bosh! will be there for a talk on the main stage which is hosted be ME! 🙂

Outbreak

My favourite Hardcore festival for many years is bigger than ever, now being based in Depot Mayfield, Manchester. The line up is pretty mixed in terms of genres this year which is very cool. Everyone from hardcore favourites Converge and Bane to Denzel Curry, Earl Sweatshirt and Deathgrips.

Reading

Your classic Reading festival is a no-brainer. Each year they always have a very varied and great lineup. I’ve been going since I was about 15, and it’s still absolutely smashing it out of the park. This year’s headliners include Billie Eilish, The Killers, Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, Foals and more!

These are my tried and tested personal favourites. Let me know if you think I should add or check out any more.
