Firstly yey I have a decent lens and can now take real beauty pictures!
The lens is a 25mm for my Olympus Pen EPL7 and it works amazingly at getting those blurry backgrounds for both far away and close up shots. They have an EPL8 now too.
So now into the make up… I wanted to show you a whole load of new products I have been loving recently.
What I have used to get this look:
Eyes – Swiitch Beauty ‘Slays For Days’ Pallet. This pallet is SO pigmented and cruelty free. The colours are perfect for blue/green eyes but also would look good on anyone.
I used a light/bright orange on my eyelid and topped with one of the glittery oranges. I then used a light brown to blend out into my crease and upper lid, and broke it up with a dark brown in my crease line for definition.
Lips – Bourjois Velvet Lipstick in ’12’ This is my favourite release from Boirjois lips lately. It doesn’t dry out you lips and it stays in place.
Foundation – Bourjois Healthy Mix
Illuminator – Nude by Nature ‘Sheer Light Illuminator’
Powder – Nude by Nature ‘Flawless Pressed Powder’
Bronzer – Collection Bronzer
Mascara – Urban Decay ‘Trouble Maker’ The latest mascara release from Urban Decay doesn’t fail to impress. It’s meant to be ‘sex proof’ LOLZ, meaning even though it isn’t waterproof it shouldn’t budge. I’ve worn it during work outs, day to day throughout the week and it’s really great. it does budge a bit when I’ve been super sweaty working out but that’s fair enough. It defines the lashes well and the packaging is so cute!
Brows – Benefit Browzing – my go to.
