Today I’m blurring the lines between street and sartorial. I have a general style which is a mixture of street and girly fashion and I’m always trying to blend casual and smart together as that’s where I feel comfortable; somewhere in the middle.
I’ve always liked the look of round brim big hats but they are a fairly girly and mostly suit summer / beach looks. I’ve wanted to find a way to work them into my style for ages. I usually go for the classic trilby or fedora style which aren’t too far away from this style.
By mixing a summer, flowing Kimono into my look this gave the right amount of girly balance to add in the hat. The rest of the look is fairly simple and casual/smart. Skinny jeans and a roll neck tucked in to elongate my silhouette and trainers to keep me feeling street. The high neck of the roll neck keeps this a smart / office like look but to balance that out the trainers and ripped jeans keep it casual to keep me in my comfort zone.
I mostly always wear glittery of mesh socks again to keep a girly balance in my outfits and also to add a touch of colour. These slimline silhouette of these kicks works with the light outfit and the pattern is a subtle kicks ass edge; they are the new Superga x Rolling Stones collab’ which I think is dope. That subtle punk rock aspect keeps me feeling a little bad ass!
