I like to keep my Sunday outfits, casual but on trend…
let’s face it we all want to me comfortable on a Sunday, it’s been a long week and weekend of trying to look good for nights out and work days and we just need to be relaxed today. Hats often come into play because we don’t want to bother with our hair, but hats are cool so that’s okay!
This Sunday I decided was the best time to try out my new ASOS Menswear Souvenir bomber jacket. Souvenir jackets are timeless but in particular are getting a real come back right now, everyone is doing them and they are a real staple for anyones wardrobe; male or female. The all over print on the body of mine is enough of a statement to be able to keep the rest of the outfit clean and simple.
I decided to pair it with a baggy white tee and matching white cap with skinny ripped jeans to balance out the silhouette which I rolled to have a little bit of ankle on show. Balance is key when you are wearing oversized items, especially if you aren’t 6ft tall! I’m 5ft5…
So little details like balancing a baggy top with a skinny bottom and tucking it in with rolled ankles helps to maintain a flattering silhouette. I chose ripped jeans because I’m rock n roll like that…! Or at least I like to think I’m bringing my inner punk rock child out somehow in all my looks. Ripped jeans are punk rock … allow me!
Of course I paired this with trainers, I mean I wear trainers a lot but especially on Sundays! These are the new Adidas Originals ‘Gazelle’s,’ I chose a classic style trainer in a neutral colour to balance out the white top half to complete the look.
