I’ve just got back from a pretty magical trip to Ibiza with Estrella Damm.

Firstly Estrella Damm is a Mediterranean Beer  brewed in Barcelona with 100% natural ingredients since 1876. By making a beer suitable for warmer climates they developed the ‘Mediterranean Lager Beer’ we know and love as ‘Estrella Damm.’

The brand took us to Ibiza for a very exclusive and special dining experience at Heart Ibiza. As we arrived to Heart Ibiza we went up a stairs finding food along the way hiding inside bird cages which led us to rooms full of immersive food experiences including cherries hanging from the ceiling and roses filled with drink capsules. This lead us to the terrace with wonderful views onto Dalt Vila where we were invited to enjoy cocktails, beers and canopes alongside fire breathing and other circus style performances.

Afterwards we moved into the Lab where we enjoyed first class cuisine alongside performances, music and a night full of unexpected moments. Live cabaret, singers, dance acts and even tight rope performers accompanied many courses of very interesting food.

Now some of you may be asking yourself – how did you get on being Gluten Free and Vegetarian? Daura Damm is their gluten free beer and not only did I find some in my Hotel room on arrival but I was given it throughout our stay; so that was great! Also on the evening of Heart Ibiza the team catered specifically for me and were very careful to make sure I didn’t eat anything wrong which was amazing. I had a starter of Melon Balls served in a tangy sauce inside a skull shaped bowl, other dishes included gluten free noodles with beautifully cooked mushrooms and a cauliflower rice dish with the creamiest mash potato and vegetables. Afters included ice creams and sorbets and money shaped chocolate like something out of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Behind the performances were moving, interactive graphics; it all made for a very impressive show. We then joined the performers and danced the night away.

This event actually took place on our last night – we stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The evening before we were taken to a dinner on the beach with a fantastic sea view and in the day time we explored the local area and had lunch and breakfast at the Corso Hotel where we all stayed.

The Corso Hotel is out of this world! The decor, views, staff and rooms were all amazing. The room sizes were perfect with beautiful balconies over looking the pool and sea front with the harbour.

There’s a beach just a short distance walk from the hotel which is really chilled out with soft sand and beautiful blue water. It also has lots of cafes and restaurants along the front overlooking the beach.

At first the whole Gluten Free Vegetarian thing was pretty hard but once I had gathered the lingo and language barriers it appears there’s a lot of Gluten Free options in Spain. Even their Burger King was advertising Gluten Free Burgers!

I had a fantastic time, I wish I could have bought the beer back through customs but I’ll be picking some up soon, it’s in Tesco’s etc. I would love to go back to Ibiza soon and I can not recommend the Heart Ibiza enough! Mind blowing…
