So here’s a new London hair salon review for you guys! I’m a bleach addict thats the first thing you need to know, if you don’t already. I’m naturally dark blond and I like to be either a bright blonde or even a silver most of the time. I’ve tried a lot of great salons and I’m here today to tell you about the latest London salon I’ve ticked off the list; The Lounge Soho.

The Lounge is based in the heart of Central London, just around the corner from Carnaby Street and right at the beginning of Soho. And if you know it well, opposite Supreme and Wah Nails basically! The salon has an upstairs and downstairs, upstairs is more of the cutting zone with downstairs being more of the colour zone but there’s room to style and cut on both floors. With celeb clients including Zane Malik, I felt in good company to let them loose with my colour!

The salon use professional products from Davines and Kevin Murphy to help deliver stronger, healthier hair and are one of the first London and are one of the first London Salons to provide ‘Olaplex’ branded hair care. I’ve mentioned Olaplex and simialr products before in my hair posts and it’s basically a treatment you can now get while getting your hair bleached that puts the protein back into the hair which traditional bleaching methods strip out. Making for a much stronger, less damaged finish and hair that won’t break so easily!

So I went in with a slight mess of lilac toner that had gone a bit wild and I just wanted a nice clean blonde again. They talked me through using a colour remover and then bleaching my roots and toning my hair. They were very honest that I might not get back to my usual white hair straight away but they would do their best. I came out with a bright blonde and a very clean slate of hair! My hair felt in great condition (and still does) and they managed to get rid of all the lilac which even had slight blue undertones which aren’t easy to budge.

The staff were super nice and they have a great selection of drinks, teas etc and lovely complimentary chocolates too. The whole atmosphere made me feel very at ease and relaxed and I would love to go back again. Below you can see more pictures from my experience at the salon.

Prices :

Women’s cuts start at £55, Pre-Lightening and Toning starts at £100 so the prices are pretty good for central London. See them all here.
