The lovely guys at Camden Market gave me a voucher for Honest Burger when I recently went to their Gluten Free Market event. I’ve been to Honest before as they do Gluten free buns and even their onion rings are gluten free, so it was ace to go again.
Their veggie option is a ‘Fritter’ full of cauliflower, tomato, sweetcorn, cucumber yoghurt, shallots, spices and coriander, it’s similar to an onion bhaji but with more vegetables. It comes with fries and a gluten free bun for just £8.50 (or £7.50 with a normal bun) which I think is ace!! It deserves two exclamations marks, that’s how ace. The onion rings are huge, delicious, crispy and gluten free and just basically insane! And the drinks menu even gives you a gluten free beer option! I went for Cider this time though and it’s a nice accompaniment to the meal.
There are lots of Honest Burgers dotted around London now in Camden, Soho, Notting Hill etc… Check out where your nearest one is here: http://www.honestburgers.co.uk/
