Okay so this week the new issue of Notion Magazine has launched.
There is a cover shoot and another artist feature inside styled by me.
The cover features Dance music pioneers ‘Chase and Status’ shot by Vicky Grout and styled by yours truly. We shot both in a studio and on location to capture a variety of looks. You can see the shoot below with fashion credits etc.
I can’t lie we had very little notice, well in-fact I had 24 hours notice of this shoot which is crazzyyy in terms of styling personalities. But we did it and it’s here! And it’s in my hands haha which is the best feeling ever.
Along with the cover shoot I also styled Loyle Carner.
Loyle is one of my favourite new artists right now, his music reminds me of The Streets who I was obsessed with as a kid. He mixes poetry-like-rap with chilled beats and clever relatable lyrics. His style is very me, workwear and smart casuals so he was ideal to work with. Theo Cottle shot him and we have been wanting to work together for a while so it was great we got to work with an artist we both really like, as well as each other.
Both Theo and Vicky really like using film so both shoots were a mixture of film and digital which gave them an incredible aesthetic and very personal feel.
